Such a handsome BOY

The other night at the gym, I was putting away my gear when I noticed a cute little girl in the play area looking through the window and smiling at me. I smiled back at this cute little button-nosed girl and realized that it was not, in fact, a girl, but my own sweet baby boy. Time for a haircut.

He didn't seem to mind at first, he sat there playing with the soft little hairs on the stool.

I kind of look like I know what I am doing, but don't be fooled. I've messed up a head of hair or two in my day.

The clippers were a little much for him, but now he really does look like a boy. No more baby mullet. I am kind of sad right now. This was my last first baby haircut. Sigh.

I was thinking...how did she keep him still for a haircut with scissors? And then you brought out the big guns! He does clean up nicely!! My boys went into convulsions at that age. The sound of the clippers going on just brought out the best in everyone! Little Ms. Kate and I are doing fine. I'm on a 2x a week dr. visit schedule till she comes. My ultrasound yesterday looked good (fluid is still at a safe level) and my NST (non stress test) was great, so all is well. She's a whopping 3.5-4.0 lber right now, in the 50% so each day she gains weight is FANtastic. Did I mention that I'm soooo ready to been done! XOXo-I'd LOVE to SEE you anytime...August, really???

ahhh that made me giggle pretty hard. Great job on the haircut, such a precious baby. When did he grow up so darn fast?
I look at pictures before Anthony turned one, I wanted to wait til he was one before his first cut. and now I see them and wonder what was I thinking! His hair was awful long. LOL! He needed it way before he turned one.

He looks so cute! I was a little sad to cute off Lailie's mullet too, I didn't really understand at the time why, but now I can see that when you cut off that soft hair, it really is never the same. But it does have to be done, and he is soo handsome!

I've been giving James haircuts for a bit now, but I think we're going buzz cut for both boys this summer. I'm a little sad about that. We'll see how he does with the clippers. William, we have to wrap in a towel and hold him down because he fights so hard and is so strong. Not at all fun. But no shaggy hair around here, so he has to get it done. Good job!

You look very competent. I make Tom cut Grady's hair and it is an ordeal every month!
