*Thanksgiving was fabulous, Utah was beautiful. I LOVE my inlaws. They are all so much fun to be around.
* I ran my 6K, I use ran loosely. I finished and did pretty well for my age group, which was 98 for some reason.
Um, that about does it for updates worth writing about. So, onto more current things.
Jessica Turned 12!
Time has really flown by. It seems like just yesterday we brought this beautiful little lady home from the hospital. I thought that growing up in a large family would prepare me for life as a mother, but I learned REALLY fast that I had no idea what I was doing. Here was this beautiful baby, with a perfect little round head and big gorgeous eyes, depending on me for everything she needed. She has been such a joy in our lives since she was born. She is beautiful and talented. She is sensitive and kind. She is my right hand gal. I LOVE HER TO PIECES!!! She wanted to go to San Fransisco for her birthday so off we went! We had a great time together as a family and then enjoyed some present opening over breakfast and delicious Penne Rigate for dinner. She got some great gifts, including the first Twilight book which she finished within 2 days. But....the most exciting news is that she got her ears pierced!!!!! She has been looking forward to this day her whole life (believe me). She had to call a few people and interview them about their ear piercing experience so that she could make an educated decision and use her agency wisely. She is so big, and I am so old. Happy Birthday, Jessica!
Ben turns 35 (that's halfway to 70, you know)!

Happy birthday Jessica and Ben. Time does go by whether we want it to or not. Your Ben is almost as old as my old man. I love how you guys have fun as a family. I think that we forget how to do that sometimes.
A weed whacker? I think I would have crawled in a hole if my dad even knew that I shaved my legs for the first time. We didn't talk about such things at my house. ahem. Imagine what else we didn't talk about...

I have been waiting for you to update your blog! I didn't want to say anything at church because I know you have 6 kids, and I immediately am reminded of how little time I allowed my poor mom to have growing up. I loved the video of her getting her ears pierced. The weedwacker comment from Ben was hilarious. She was a good sport about it. Congrats on all your fun times. :)

I turned 12 when your dad was on his mission and he wrote me the nicest letter, I will have to let you read it, maybe I will send you a copy. Good report Emily....aren't birthdays fun! Jessica handled herself like a champ while her ears got pierced AND the teasing from her giddy parents..leg shaving...who knew someone could be so inwardly excited! Your new festive header looks fabulous...such a cute fam! Always great to talk to you! xoxo

Waohoo! She is getting big! I still havnt gotten up the guts to get my ears pierced. Your husband is sooo funny! Your family is adorable as always.
Wow! Fun family activities! I love reading updates. Your brother made me jealous last night. He taunted me with "I was just at Emilys" with a 'so there' attitude during bunco. I loved it!
