Brett really liked it though. I am in a period of life right now where I only like to watch movies that end happy. I see too much sadness and unhappy endings at work and in real life, when I go to the movies I want to escape real life! I do see your point in liking the movie and it is very good to know the history and the sacrifices that people made, I think it teaches us a lesson.

We only go to the movies when we go home and Mamie can get us in free! We did rent Hancock the other day and I really liked that one!The Yancey Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05312720181743041221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1982169662182274111.post-42764396571469831492009-01-06T10:02:00.000-08:002009-01-06T10:02:00.000-08:00I went and saw Valkyrie when I was home for Christ...I went and saw Valkyrie when I was home for Christmas. I loved it as well. I have German blood coursing through my veins and its nice to know that we weren't the savages that history sometimes makes us out to be. I will agree that it wasn't kid friendly. People take their kids to the most horrid movies these days. Tony and I were going to a movie and we saw this couple take their 5-6 year old into 300!! I swear those people got in the "short line" in heaven just to get here faster.Tony and Tracihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14943988919982516843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1982169662182274111.post-25084188182593489562009-01-06T06:50:00.000-08:002009-01-06T06:50:00.000-08:00Heather...yes, I think that I would really like it...Heather...yes, I think that I would really like it, I think we were just on heightened alert because of our kids. They are at the age where they pick up on EVERYTHING. I do want to finish it, though.Emily Kernhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00991857543551847148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1982169662182274111.post-20381700381810134492009-01-06T03:40:00.000-08:002009-01-06T03:40:00.000-08:00We did see Marley and Me when we were home...I cam...We did see Marley and Me when we were home...I came out thinking, wow - finally a movie that didn't have any bad stuff in it! Funny, if I would've had my kids I would've been on high alert during your formentioned moments. It's a nice story about a family. At least they were married when she was in their bed! :)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09148965559280827683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1982169662182274111.post-74219134216051911422009-01-05T14:31:00.000-08:002009-01-05T14:31:00.000-08:00Don't ask me, we're still watching "Kung Foo Panda...Don't ask me, we're still watching "Kung Foo Panda" twice daily. We took Kennedy to Bedtime Stories and she loved it! Chad and I also liked it alot more than we thought we would. I also took Kennedy to BOLT and maybe I'm just a sucker for a dog movie but I cried, it was pretty cute too.
That's so funny about your hair! (well I'm sure you don't think it's that funny) Just dye it purple and no one will even notice :)Emily Omanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10744069487304362141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1982169662182274111.post-12341420597604695642009-01-05T00:01:00.000-08:002009-01-05T00:01:00.000-08:00I saw Benjamin button. It is the best movie I have seen in a long long time. The only adult(ish) movie I have seen is Twilight. Loved that one! Anyway, we saw Eagle Eye on Friday and really enjoyed it. There was some swearing and I think the first scene had a little naughty talk but I was so worried about my popcorn that I missed it. :) I do have to warn you that it is intense, very intense, but I would see it again.Amberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05374879110450449923noreply@blogger.com
